A Question of Curiosity.

What the devil do women want in a man? I would assume they are looking for a guy who possess the following things.

     A source of income
     A brain
     Basic creature comforts. (i.e. Car, house)
     A stable frame of mind
     A sense of humor
     The ability to listen and care

Now perhaps I have based these thoughts off of a false assumption.

A man once told me that Women try and get noticed by the nice guys, but the nice guys are somewhat afraid of the beautiful women. Because the nice guys are "afraid" the beautiful women try and dress more provocative so as to be noticed. But this only "scares" the nuce guys even more. This sad pattern continues, until finally one of the scum guys asks the woman out, and in desperation she agrees.

I am honestly at my wits end, I have tried time and again to find companionship, but each time I am turned away. I have used different tactics each time. Now I beg of you to reveal your methodology.
